History

CHASIN’ was founded in 1992 in the Netherlands with the dream of creating a denim brand with a strong, modern men’s jeans collection. The name CHASIN’ comes from Tashan’s song, “Chasin’ a Dream”. The name fit perfectly. The brand carries immense ambition and drive in its DNA, inspiring everyone to pursue and achieve their dreams. The dream at CHASIN’ is clear and motivates the team every day to make CHASIN’ a global brand.

The story behind 'The Lotus'

The story behind 'The Lotus'

In addition to the CHASIN’ lettering, our brand is visually represented by the iconic Lotus logo. “The Lotus” is a unique and imaginative interplay of lines symbolizing the bridge between authenticity and technology. Inspired by the distinctive roofline of the Sydney Opera House, its shape also resembles the contours of a lotus flower, which is why we began referring to it as ‘The Lotus’. The CHASIN’ design team began incorporating ‘The Lotus’ onto the back pockets of our jeans. It makes our back pockets recognizable, unique, and iconic. Because of its visual strength, we incorporated the shape into the neckline of each collection piece. Over time, the combination of the apostrophe (the shape of the apostrophe at the end of the word CHASIN’) and the Lotus has become our new logo. We call this combination ‘The Flaque’.
